Refresher on tv eq3 sizing?

There were several threads on sizing these helmets when they first came out with many people saying they run small. After reading a bunch of '18-'19 threads on this, it is not clear to me whether this is more of a head shape issue than sizing?

Is going up one size still the general recommendation when ordering online?

Fwiw i currently have and am ready to replace a M size Lynx and measure exactly 22" (56 cm). I should be a perfect 6 7/8, and i believe my prior sized helmets were that size, but i have been using only dial fits for ages…

I fit exactly my measurement (57cm/7 1/8) in the EQ3. For reference, I had to go up a size in the CO Halo. I have a fairly oval head shape.

Thank you, yes! I also kust looked at the bot website sizing info, which is much more detailed than retailers’

I think it was a head shape issue causing people to size up. I take the expected size as well. The EQ3 is pretty shallow and round.

You might know this already but the EQ3 and Lynx have slightly different shapes so you may not fit one if the other is perfect - not sure if you’ve tried both on.
