All apologies if this is a Very Dumb Question. I’m totally out of my depth when looking at pedigrees. By reading the extremely helpful Racing 101 thread I’ve managed to mostly understand what DP, DI etc. are, but analyzing them is still far beyond me. My question is… is there a kind of “ideal” number when looking at DP, DI, CD? Is bigger better? Smaller? Closest to 1? Is it more the numbers that go into the totals that matter for example:
DP = 2-2-11-0-1 (16) DI = 1.46 CD = 0.25
Would one be concerned about the two zeros in the DP? What does each number represent?
