Registry options for ATA mare and Hannoverian/Holsteiner approved stallion

Hi Everyone,
I have to admit this is NOT my lane. I am considering breeding my mare (half trakhener, registered ATA in North America) to Duplexx (approved hannoverian, holsteiner). I have no idea what my registry options would be (if any). I would prefer not to have to do any mare inspections as the mare won’t be with me until late fall before she is due. Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

The foal may be eligible for KWPN-NA registration with no inspection. You can email the mare’s pedigree to drew@kwpn-na.org and I could get a better idea of what book the foal would be in.

Is she registered half-trak with ATA? What is the other half of her pedigree?

She is registered with ATA, but half-Trak

I would think your best option would be to reach out to the Holsteiner association to see if your mare is eligible for approval based on her pedigree.

The ATA can offer a certificate of pedigree, which provides DNA verification and birth year verification for age related classes, but would not be eligible for Horse of the Year awards. Feel free to email me if you would like more info! ata@americantrakehner.com
