Heather Johnson is top notch. http://www.creeksidereininghorses.com/

I’ve never heard of Karr.

If that is Thomas Karr, Georgia, he is a member of the NRHA but when I queried about any money or points earned, it came up with a 0.

Maybe he only shows locally, or AQHA, or any other regional association?
Or I am looking at the wrong person?

yeah i saw their page but do u know if they travle or if you have to come to them

Contact Heather and find out. She’s very nice and has many successful Non Pros.

If you don’t have the footing to stop in, it would be better to go to her place.

I am newish to reining but I have never heard of Thomas Karr. I have found in the Atlanta area, you are going to have to drive a couple of hours to get to a reining trainer.

I ride with Francis Mercier who is west of Atlanta in Roopville. I have been riding with him for a year, and the progress with my horse has been amazing. Luckily, I am closer to him now but was driving 2+ hours every week to ride with him before he moved to his current location.

He moved to this facility earlier this year: http://www.westgaridingacademy.com/

Heather Johnson is also good. I have had some lessons with her and have friends who ride with her. I also have friends who ride with Herm Sherwin in Watkinsville.

I drive two hours to ride with Heather. She is an outstanding trainer. She ethical and just an outstanding horsewoman.

Where are you located? I have never heard of Karr and if want to break into reining, I would at least find a trainer that has some earnings.

Augusta is the quarter horse capital of Georgia, next door to our SC.
Right down 20 from Atlanta. Check out the reigning there.

Look up Wendy Grey, she’s in Ga but I’m not sure how far from you. She rode my gelding for a while and I am very pleased with the training he has.

i am located in johns creek but my horses are in cheerokee canton are

There really is not anyone near you. Heather would be the closest. Kevin Jewell is in Conyers and is supposed to be good.
