The special derby for four year olds and one for older horses.
Al Dunning and Bob Avila are commenting on the runs, some times it is very interesting what they have to say.
They are some of the old timers, have multiple championships and horses and students that have done very good.

Those interested in learning more about reining could learn there, where amateurs make plenty of mistakes that are obvious and the comments on them and how they are judged and why.

Boy, are they having some fabulous runs and trying so hard, some interesting less than correct movements happen then.
Comes with the territory, the more you ask of the horse, the greater he will be, but also the difficulty is increased, some times easier then to make mistakes.

The commentators, when they are paying attention, sure catch plenty, very eye opening some times.

Good way to educate your eye to what the judges are looking for, with those trainers commenting on what is good and why and why not, enlightening.

I hope some of you that have questions are watching.

It is not as easy as we think to do it all correctly and show your horse’s talent for what is asked there.
They are some big guns and their top horses showing now and even they are making mistakes.
Some are making up for them with brilliance later, some just not quite getting there.

The commentators are explaining some of it, why that is as it is.
They are not always agreeing with each other or the judges, in a fun way.
