Reinjury to front proximal suspensory. Has anyone delt with this and how did it turn out long-term?
My story… Horse was off all of 2023 due to proximal suspensory injury (no hole but bone involvement). Treatments: shockwave, Osphos, controlled back to work over entire year. Came back fine all 2024 until November when ultrasound showed a very slight difference from previous ultrasounds that were occurring every 3 months, but horse was sound. Shockwaved anyway. February 2025, horse comes up lame same place. Will have him ultrasounded next week to determine course of action.
Any experiences would be appreciated.
