Relocated to Seattle from NZ

Hi,

Just over a year ago I relocated to Seattle from New Zealand, leaving my horses behind. I’m now itching to get back in the saddle and wondering where the best place to do so near Seattle is.

I’ve been riding since I was 3 and competing in hunters and jumpers since I was 11. Winning numerous national competitions in New Zealand.

Ideally I would like to find a horse to train for someone who is short of time as I can’t buy and board a horse - however in the meantime I’d settle to lessons on a school horse just to be back in the saddle.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Where in Seattle are you located. How far are you willing to travel to get to the barn. People will be able to give better suggestions when we have a better idea what area you are wanting to look in. There are several good barns from the big on the road from California to BC to those with a more local focus.
