My husband is a retired equine veterinarian, and I worked with him throughout his practice years. We are located in Northern California, and are about to move to Knab, Utah in a month where our son lives. The property we found is 6 acres with a home and garage ; fenced; but no horse accomodations. We will be moving in around March 15th and need a place for our 3 horses for a short amount of time til we can put up corrals and a mare motel for starters.
We welcome input about boarding in the St George/Kanab area and really any horse resources that would be helpful.
. A second question would be about horse activities in those areas. My background is Eventing and Dressage, and we both enjoy trail riding.
I, also, have an Aussie that excells at Obediance and will be looking for more fun with her.

At least you might be able to talk to someone who could steer you in the right direction. My mom was from Kanab and I used to spend all my summers there with my grandparents. Great memories. But it was a looonnnggg time ago, and I’m sure I wouldn’t even recognize the place now. It’s beautiful there.
