Tips for removing sand from stirrup irons and boot liners?
After showing in arenas with fine sand, all the nooks,crannies, and joints in my tech stirrups are gunked up with sand. It’s even worse since all the joints in the stirrups are oiled/greased. I was considering throwing them in the dishwasher and then oiling them afterward, but thought I’d solicit other solutions.
Similarly, the boot liners from my Majyk Equipe boots seem to be permanently sandy even after a wash. Any recommendations for drawing out the sand from them?
