Rendaivu Horse & Stable Management Software

After wallowing far too long in paperwork and receipts, Lo and behold what do I find? Rendaivu Horse and Stable Management Software! WOO HOO! And guess what?!??!? They have a FREE version! Do you know what this means to someone like me who would rather make snow angels in the manure pile than install a Microsoft product on my Mac? No “office” software needed! It’s all online.

The free version is very comprehensive with record keeping for your horses vaccines, vet visits, farrier visits, training, pedigree, performance and even racing records. In the expenses section you have options for Boarding, Educational Clinics, Feed & Supplements, Horse Purchases, Memberships, Miscellaneous, Tack & Apparel and Trailering. There are online calendars, photos, ad listings and more. Oh, and there is an income section too…sorry, forgot about that one. Not much horse related income coming in around here. You can also create customized reports by date, by category or by horse.

There are also two other paid versions which are software based editions for use on your computer and don’t require an internet connection. They are personal and a professional editions which have many more features than the free web based version. If they offered it on the Mac platform I would scarf up the personal edition in a heartbeat as it is only $49. The professional edition is $99 and features invoicing and lesson scheduling and tons more. I may take the hit for the professional edition in the spring when lessons start and install it on my old laptop so I can take it right with me to the barn.

I highly recommend taking a peek at this, especially to check out the free online version. It is great for all of us who need to be sure our significant others don’t see all those invoices from smartpak!

LOVE Rendaivu and the folks there. I’ve been using it to track my horse stuff since the beginning and the folks behind it ROCK. I haven’t managed to get the barn I board at hooked on it yet, but they’re not very techy either. What I love most is that if I’m at a computer w/internet access, I can update/look at my horse’s records. Very helpful if I have to chat withthe vet from work – I can look up just when I noticed that such-and-such started happening… or what my last worming date was, etc.

This is good to know, because I think once spring hits I will get the Pro version and use it for the EAT program. It would be nice to have it on my laptop to take to the barn with me and still use it here at home. We will be using invoicing etc, so I think it will be handy!

So far I am absolutely loving this for the farm. Of course I had a small coronary when I got done entering the “miscellaneous” stuff. I really didn’t buy all that stuff did I??!?!?

btw…the brow band looks GORGEOUS on Trooper!

I love Rendaivu too. I wish my whole barn would go with it! Love the e-mail reminders about farrier/vet, too.

Rendaivu rocks!

Rendaivu has recently released a desktop version of our popular horse and stable version and it is now available for purchase. It can be used without in internet connection and uses the same interface as our online version but with more features. Great Christmas idea for barn owners or clients! www.rendaivu.com

So I know this thread has been dead a while, but I had a few questions that I thought someone might be able to answer. This is all using the online version for now.

  1. Is there a way to invoice people who aren’t members (aka just normal contacts, not members of the site)?

  2. Using the online version, how have people gotten around having all the boarders/lesson students have their own accounts as you can’t enter any names unless they are considered members?

Thanks so much! We are looking into using their program for our facility, but have to figure out how to get around these few problems first. I don’t think it will be logistically possible for us to convert wholly onto this program as coordinating non-techy boarders/students could be quite complicated.
