I LOVE my renegades. I only use them when I ride on gravel roads so they get used maybe once a month. I added studs to mine a couple years ago when the pasture was icy and my gelding wore them for a few days in a row (fronts only). Never had any problem with them. I once tested them by riding my horse through a really mucky swamp. One boot got sucked off after about 100 feet of mud, but the other stayed on. I was impressed! They are the only boot my farrier will recommend. I have never had problems with them rubbing, whereas I’ve had nothing but problems with other brands on boarder horses.
