Has anyone had good results feeding this formula of the Renew Gold for their senior horse? It includes some joint supplements.
No, but I love their ulcer stuff! I didn’t my picky horses would eat it, but they do and it works great.
What ulcer stuff? Don’t see anything on their website.
Yes! This stuff worked miracles for my old “heart horse” during his last year of life. He had developed some digestive issues, couldn’t eat hay without having terrible diarrhea, and went through a rough patch where he lost a lot of weight (always an easy keeper) and just looked terrible. I tried the Renew Gold Senior for him and it really turned him around! Diarrhea stopped (still had to eat cubed/pelleted hay, but his manure was so much more normal with the addition of the RGSr), he picked up weight, hair coat looked great.
Unfortunately, he broke his leg and had to be put down last September at the age of 22. It broke my heart, obviously. One thing was for sure though. He looked fabulous when he left this world. Best he had looked in years.
I tried the normal Renew Gold on him once and that definitely didn’t do the trick. Had to be the Senior. It’s got lots of good stuff in there!
