I have an older laser ap saddle (from late 90’s). It in great shape and I love it but the mechanism is broken and laser no longer repairs them. Anyone know someone who does? I just want it fixed in place at this point. Thanks!
I’m not familiar with the saddle but I would suggest contacting local saddle repair people and also the saddle resale websites that have a saddle fitter on staff and see a lot of different brands. There was also a blogger known as Saddle Geek who had lots of information on brands.
I did Google and it looks like Laser is more complex than the wintec type switchable gullet plates. It is possible this mechanism can’t be fixed at a reasonable price point for the saddle. On the other hand who knows? It could just require a couple of screws or something.
