Is anyone traveling from FL to KY who could let a little Jack Russell hitch a ride? I pulled him from a high kill rural shelter for a relative who wanted him. We planned on heading up there over the summer but due to my injuries etc we aren’t going to get able to make the drive. I’m hoping to get him a ride .
you might check with the Jack Russel Rescues they may have some idea … my wife is involved with White German Shepherd Dog Rescue… that group could move a dog(s) across the country in few days. Most coming through here are from Mexico going to the North or Northeastern US
I am just amazed at the dedication some of these groups have in their mission

I’m in NE Tennessee and just about an hour and a half from the Kentucky border and 45 minutes from Asheville. I’m happy to do a leg of the journey if that helps. Just PM me if needed.

Check with the commercial horse shippers. Sometimes they will let a dog ride along. Brook Ledge comes to mind. Depending on what part of KY maybe check out what events will be at KY Horse Park. Check on FB to see if any participants from FL that may be going there to compete. Too bad RRP is in October.
