Results from Helmet Use Survey

In spring I posted a link to a survey about attitudes towards helmet use. Lots of people here took the survey (big thanks!!) so I wanted to share some preliminary results. If you are interested, go to my blog for details on the sample characteristics, method, initial results.
Again, thanks so much to everyone who helped out!!!

I hope when the full analysis is published you will be able to link to the article here so we can read the full thing. This was very interesting, particularly your analyses around the trail/endurance riders, who, as you say, are neither required to wear helmets or shamed into not wearing them.

I am fully in the “every horse, every ride camp” and have been since I started riding and that was the rule. After reading this, I will try to incorporate more of the suggestive rather than absolute when talking to riders who choose not to wear helmets all the time in hopes of keeping them safer.

That was very interesting to read. Thank you for sharing and I hope you are able to get your research published!
