Retiring a dog

Sucha Good Dog is turning 12 and is retiring from her job working at the Euless city library as a Reading Dog.

She started her job in 2015 teaching children to read

In 2019 she was voted by the city workers as the Volunteer of the Year for the city for her weekly visits to help the kids

today she got a letter from the city… not sure what’s inside, waiting for her to open it

What a good girl! Well-deserved retirement!

Oh I love this! Such a good pup and happy retirement <3

Thanks for making me cry this morning (happy tears). Sucha Good Girl. I hope she enjoys her well deserved retirement.

she will be spending her time with Her horses, she grew up around horses and really likes to be near them

as a pup, daughter was working at a Clydesdale farm

this is her preferred way of life

that is when she is not Training the younger horses

Oh my, I want to pick up that chubby puppy who’s looking at the horse and cover him with kisses and hugs! Have a happy retirement Sucha! How anyone cannot love a dog is beyond me.

Her retirement party was well attended, many of her kids came to say good by, she turned in her Reading Support collar and the library gave her a life time library card
