Reviews of Frontier Trailers

Hi. Looking at purchasing a bumper pull - 2 horse straight load. Dealer has new 2019 Frontier at an affordable price. Any experience with Frontier Trailers. TIA!

I have one that I purchased new in 2016. It’s a slant load though but otherwise a 2 horse bumper pull. Prior to that one I had a 2000 new, off the line four horse featherlite stock combo gooseneck that I loved. I was downsizing and no longer needed such a big rig. I haul on average one a week now and typically only one horse but have hauled with it fully loaded. I find that it hauls and handle well which I was a little concerned about since my preference has always been goosenecks. I’ve had it fully serviced with routine maintenance twice. I have welsh cobs, a morgan and a large mustang (draft blood). All fit and seem to haul comfortably in the trailer whether by themselves or with a companion. The model I purchased has lots of drop down windows and roof air vents which keep the trailer very cool despite Arizona scorching weather. It was the biggest reason why I purchased mine. The dealer I purchased from is well know is this area and has a good reputation for customer service. I wish the tack room were slightly larger but in all honesty mine is packed with quite a bit of stuff and I can still change clothes, turn around easily in it. I’ve had only one issue and that’s with the window on the tack room door leaking a little but it was sealed at no charge and so far no more problems. I think the trailer has been a good buy for the money but I will be honest and say that if I could have afforded a 4star similar model, that is probably the direction I would have gone. Still that has more to do with reputation and if this trailer gives me 10 solid years…well…the money I saved will make it more than worth it (and I could easily afford to buy another).
