Reviews please: Kask Star Lady

I am interested in your comments/reviews of the Kask Star Lady helmet.

Our daughter has been coveting, and a new helmet would make a great Christmas gift. Forum search did not really give the reviews I was looking for, and one poster indicated that there had been problems with “explosion” on impact. A later poster indicated this malfunction was related to a different company. Now the helmet is becoming a little more popular, I am hoping for more comments, and a little reassurance regarding quality.

Bonus marks to anyone who knows of a killer sale !!!

The only helmet explosion I’ve heard of is the issue with KEP helmets. I’m interested in reviews too; this is on my list for after my First Lady dies.

Has she tried one on? I thought I wanted one too, until I put it on. It was horrendous on my head. Bad fit, which of course isn’t safe, and I also looked like a bowling ball. I went back to CO and bought another.

As for the “exploding” , I have only heard of KEP doing that. I know KASK has a good reputation with cyclist. I’m sure if you’re worried about safety, you already know, but a helmet that fits is always safer!
