Revised: Estate cart or Silver Penney Farm

Searching for a lightweight show cart for the mini,
Has anyone used Estate out of Arlington. WA?
Looking at this EZ Entry:

How about this from A Silver Penney (concern as cart is 115# w/wood wheels):

I purchased both of my wooden carts for my miniature horses from Silver Penny Farm and I was pleased with the workmanship. I had the Easy Entry style for my 31" mini and the show/pleasure cart for my 36" guy.

I guess Silver Penny make the Easy Entry cart different now because when I bought mine I swear the seat back folded down, it was not stationary, which made transporting it much easier. In the photo you linked it looks like it’s a non-collapsable seat back. The current pipe cart I use for my standard size donkey did not come with a fold down seat back option. :frowning:

Thanks, @SLW that’s the feedback I’m looking for.

Seems to me I saw an EZ Entry listed with a folding seat option, but not on either of those sites.
The weight of the Silver Penney cart concerns me, the Estate is only 98# compared to SP’s 115.

To me, the 15# weight difference would be an issue if I had a small mini, like my 31" guy, and I knew my weight with cart would be pushing the maximum. I was very, very careful about the terrain where I drove him.

My 36" guy had zero issues pulling cart & driver.

Good luck in your search!

@SLW  Yup, that is my worry too.
Right now baby measures 32", but that was as of a month ago when I first got him home.
I need to measure again. but expect him to finish 34" at most & he’s more on the fine side than stout.

Going to see a local carriage maker this weekend.
He has a nice 2-wheel comparable to Estate’s, with a few more bells & whistles, but could not tell me the weight when I called.
