I’m confused. Are Commentary and Kodachrome the same horse?
I thought Kodachrome was a chestnut, but Commentary/RF Amber Eyes was bay.
They are not the same horses. Commentary/RF Amber Eyes is now called Fonteyn, is owned by the Ingram family, and shows in the A/O divisions.
Kodakrome is owned by Nina Moore and mostly shows in the International Derbies and is now being ridden by Holly Shepard.
This thread was about the Green status/registration issue with RF Amber Eyes/Commentary/Fonteyn. KF’s GABA suspension was for the horse Unexpected. KF’s cocaine suspension is for the horse Kodachrome. Multiple horses. Multiple issues. Hence the confusion, and perhaps the need to revisit some of the other issues over the years.

In truth, Fonteyn has two people who show her these days: Martha Ingram in the Amateur divisions and Tori Colvin in the Open Division. For years her pro was Hayley Barnhill (?) and Mr. Ingram rode her in the Amateurs. Martha Ingram only started showing her in 2016, some three years after the Ingrams bought the mare and put it in an LLC.
