She’s got the money and the time and the interest, plus the $47,000 dressage horse. I hope she gets a trainer and learns to ride. Best way to find happiness!!

LOL she also calls his stall an “apartment” and bought what looks to be an F250 just to drive to the LAEC to ride him from time to time. I know lots of RH viewers though that Teddi Mellencamp was dull to watch, but at least she was a legitimate rider. Sutton is such an odd duck, I hope that she sticks with riding and it can give her some much-needed grounding in her life.
I am so glad to see this! I have had the thought of her riding in my mind for a while… it was… honestly worse than I thought.
I hope she is taking lessons on some solid citizens and good ol Santos is getting some good training rides.

Judging from the photo, she has no instructor. Wouldn’t the first thing be how to hold the reins correctly? Poor horse.

She just posted on Instagram a video of herself riding and saying that learning dressage is tough. Again, no hate at all, but maybe this isn’t the horse to learn on. From the video, she is a real, true beginner. We’ve all been there at one point, but weren’t on tv showing it, so I feel for her getting some hate.

haha I saw that - yep, she’s “learning dressage” in a western saddle and bridle. Maybe she’s going for western dressage? She claims her background is western riding, so why not just get an awesome cute paint stock horse? She doesn’t even sit in the western saddle like she has ever thrown a leg over it which is odd. She just looks so uncomfortable and insecure. I hope she continues to put the hard work in and gets more comfortable even if its not riding her ‘fancy’ horse.

Yes!! She could get a badass western dressage horse or even something gaited and really enjoy it. And something just as “pretty”
