Time to fess up, RHOBH is one of my guilty pleasures. On last night’s episode, Sutton bought a horse, because she’s always loved horses and her mani/pedi person has one (that’s a good reason, right?). She bought it online for $47k, a friesian/warmblood cross, and when she first went to see him after he arrived at the boarding stable, she adorned him with a garland of roses like he’d won the Kentucky Derby. I have no idea if she knows how to ride but she does have a trainer, so I guess that’s good?

I love it when my two worlds collide. We have had Yolanda and her daughters, Teddy, LVP’s minis and now Sutton! I hope we get to see Santos under saddle - I think it would be best if it was with the trainer though. It is definitely my guilty pleasure too!

Kim Kardashian has a Wyoming ranch and a herd of Friesians. I believe it was her sister who bought the grey pony, and she already had her own horse at home, a Morgan I believe. The K’s make money by being intelligent, not by being bimbos, like RHoBH.

As one who rarely admits watching this show, it seemed from her comments re growing up around horses in the south, that she MIGHT have some idea how to ride. Not holding my breath, but…she did make some reference to needing a Hermes WESTERN saddle. Or else she can become a horse show mom.

I beg to differ. Kim K was friends with Paris Hilton ages ago when Kim was a nobody. Then Kim K’s mom Kris, leaked the sex tape decades ago. They capitalized on their name. They just pull stunts and stir drama to remain relevent. We can all thank OJ Simson for having Robert Kardashian as a lawyer during his trial.

Teddy Mellencamp is legit rider - I think she was a pro for awhile, now an ammy. She showed this fall at the Capital Challenge. One of Hadid’s also competed and were legit, i think she’s back competing. Sutton claims she grew up around horses and rode. What killed me was the ridiculous lunch they brought with them to the barn LOL, that and the welcome roses.

Watched the show last nite. She needs to work on her seat, aids, etc. And I cant believe she didn’t recognize her own horse. He’s clearly not a solid bay…
