Anyone familiar with this Rhode Island barn/trainer? I might be sending a horse there…just looking for some unbiased feedback. Thanks in advance!
The Braymans are good people. Both their daughters ride very well, too.
I have known Wendy for about 8 years. She is a WONDERFUL lady. She has an excellent programme and produces nice horses and riders. Her horses all are round, shiny, and happy. Her barn has excellent turnout, nice facilities, and it’s a very pleasant place to be. I would not hesitate to send a horse to her.
ETA I have noticed that the same kids/families are involved in the barn year after year. Very little turnover. I always take that as a good sign! I rode with her when I was leasing a horse close to her barn and she came and picked the horse up, trucked it to her barn, gave me a lesson, and trucked me home. I was a broke college kid with only a cornfield to ride in and she never made me feel inferior. She just goes out of her way for people. I have never forgotten her kindness!

Wendy is fabulous! Her daughters are beautiful riders and they always have terrific ponies for sale. Love working with her!
Great people, great horsemanship and the kids ride great. Can’t say enough nice things about the entire group.
Can not find aanything negative to say about the Braymans. I have one of her ponies and she has one of mine. She sold me this pony after hearing what I was looking for and the pony was SPOT ON in terms of what she said he was. she is an excellent trainer and a great judge, as well as an all around great person. as an aside, she organized the carousel therapy ponies to go to newtown after the tragedy,which shows her overall caring about humanity. Wendy is definitely a “pay-it-forward” kind of lady, and if you have the chance to ride with her or send her a horse for training, consider yourself lucky!
