I think law enforcement information that is considered ‘public’ can be shared. Just not details.

Right but you can’t just call up and ask as implied above, you have to put in an official public disclosure request.

Here you can call just to verify an warrant was issued, for example.

I don’t know any of the details of this case.

I do know someone who had a horse training there.

“prey tell” …haha

That’s the problem with this whole thread/safesport. You’re assuming “prey” is a Freudian slip, yet we literally know NONE of the details of the case. We’ve been round and round on here that not one poster has cited any sources for claims being made here.

I would absolutely be outspoken if whatever the allegations are come to be true.

Why would “everything come to light in time” ?
I thought Safe Sport case details are kept confidential.

Presumably they are referring to the criminal investigation up thread? I keep waiting for the Safesport decision, I had assumed it was close because of Shelley’s being released

ETA no longer alleged criminal investigation

Safesport will take their turn, once the authorities are through with him. Shelley got her serving first because she’s not under direct criminal investigation, though she may be charged alongside her husband, depending on what comes out and whether or not she chooses to cooperate with the prosecutor and investigators. From her Safesport charges, she seems to have went along with Richard’s abuse and did not openly object to it and certainly didn’t report it, so she could face criminal charges later. If there are other victims, it won’t go well for her, so it’s in her best interest to divorce him and flip to protect herself before that happens, so she can walk away on her own two legs, though it’s certainly likely that the Kehring family (and possibly others) will take them both to court in a civil case and wring out every penny they can.

It’s in the hands of the justice system now. Respectfully, at this point, it’s not fair to anyone to speculate on what can/should/will happen until there’s an outcome; regardless of what that outcome is.

I just icked myself. I went to google the age of consent. In Oregon it’s 18. But much to my disgust I read this:

In the majority of states (34), it is 16 years of age . In the remaining states, the age of consent is either 17 or 18 years old (6 and 11 states, respectively).

16 is too young IMHO.

if and when he goes to the "big house’ it wont be until after a trial if there is one, where there is also a conviction. And who knows how long it will take to get to a trial.
He has probably already bonded out or will do so shortly.
And yes i thought the mugshot was incredibly smug as well.

Is it just me or does he look sort of like a white haired Harrison Ford?Screenshot_20210607-201757_Google

Interesting. In your May 24 post, you wrote
“# ORS 163.426¹
Crime category classification for sexual abuse in the second degree
Class C Felony - maximum sentence 5 years”.

Four Counts could mean up to 20 years, 5 years max. for each count.

It’ll be like The Longest Yard, only horses instead of football.
