I’m not sure if this is the right category to post this but as there are dozens of posts about my father across the forums, I wanted to post and let people know that he passed away late Friday night. A memorial will be planned in late April, with further details coming.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I once had dinner at a friend’s camper at a show in OH when your dad had Shamrock. I remember all you kids playing outside with puppies and being very happy. I am sure it was fun to be a little kid with Richard. Godspeed.

Very sorry for your loss. As someone posted in the “Gone but not Forgotten” Facebook group, he could take an ordinary horse and make it extraordinary. I thought that was such a perfect way to explain his gift with riding and training horses. I wish I had 1/10th the riding talent he did. Wishing you the best.
