Those of you with Road ID: Did you just get information (vet #, emergency contact, address, whatever) or did you get the interactive? My concern is that the interactive doesn’t let you put much info on the bracelet.
I’m also a cyclist and have had a RoadID on my arm 24/7 for a year now. It’s held up great. I got the Slim, so I never even notice it’s there.

I answered in the other thread, but I got two. The interactive one for recognized events and the regular one for daily riding. My order arrived in 5 days.

RoadID has an option to store information online.[/QUOTE]
Yes and in my opinion this is the only way to go. I have a road ID and I have all my relevant medical history, whom to contact, etc etc. There is a phone number on my Road ID so if that number is called they will connect with a real live person who can access the profile and provide whatever information is needed.
In addition to the wrist band, Road ID also makes a dog tag style road ID. I decided that this worked better for me as I keep my info on me at all times and the wrist band did not go well with my work attire once I got a fancy watch.

The interactive has a number to call that will link caller to live person who has access to all the info you have entered into your profile. The non-interactive is just what can be typed on the metal tag- which isn’t much.

You can also access the interactive information via the website-- this where I put in horses’ names, owners’ cell numbers, insurance info etc. My bracelet just has my name/ birthyear, but there’s nothing stopping you (other than $ I guess) from getting both the interactive and non interactive and wearing them both-- if you have the silicon bracelet you could put both on the same bracelet. Honestly in an emergency I want the closest competent vet to treat my horse, it doesn’t need to be MY vet and if we’re at a competition or in a trailer accident it probably won’t be. If you trail ride a lot, you could always get your horse its own RoadID and attach it to the bridle .

Mine has my name, birth year, my contacts 2 numbers, allergies and “no medical history” on it. I did not get the interactive as this is all my info.
I have the RoadID Slim as well. I got the regular version, with name, DOB, two emergency contacts, NKDA, one small medical issue, and my insurance info. I get the logic behind wanting to have something to scan/call/login to get a fuller medical history, but there isn’t a fuller history, and am not just wearing this for riding. I chose what would work for me, personally. I’ve had my armband along at events just in case, but it hasn’t been an issue, no one’s even looked at it, other than to ask “hey what kind is that?” when they’ve been considering getting one.
What I’ve really appreciated about this is that it’s so small and unobtrusive, I’ve been getting in the habit of wearing it daily for anything outside work. Its nice to be able to wear out hiking or sailing, or to a dressage or hunter show, where it’s no more noticeable than a watchband under the cuff of my gloves.
I just saw that RoadID now has equestrian badges available for the Slim and Elite models!
I got the slim, BTW, and got both the interactive and regular IDs on one bracelet. I feel that having the contact info readily available is a better plan in case of problems with internet or phone reception, but wanted to be “legal.”
