Ok, you mentioned that your sewing machine Arab will fall into this sewing machine trotting if you let him…how do you prevent that?
Prieta, I have worked on getting her to stretch out and relax. A lot depends on how I ride. I started working on dressage at home to get her to where she physically can move better and knows how to. On the trail, I do half halts a lot to get her to slow down but move with more impulsion from behind and ask her to go a little longer and lower so her trot gets longer. She is built really short and compact so its harder for her but she is getting better.

I guess that I’ve got to work with her longer before she’d be more comfortable.
