Just wanted to share. I had a fabulous experience with this company last year when I ordered and returned 4 jackets in 10 days trying to find one that fit for a horse show. Their $5 2nd day shipping and free return shipping was a lifesaver.
Anyway… recently I ordered a supplement that was recommended from another online tack store and I threw in a pair of breeches for an upcoming horse show.
I realized at the time that ordering breeches for a show in 7 business days was cutting it close but I figured it was on me not planning ahead and it’s not like I don’t have other breeches.
Fast forward to yesterday, 4 business days after placing the order with the other retailer, they still hadn’t shipped my order. And yeah, on second thought my Kingsland breeches are a little slippery in the seat for Pony’s second show.
Jumped on Riding Warehouse’s site, find a killer deal on some nice breeches, $5 second day air, and within an HOUR I have a shipping notification and tracking number.
Today (5 business days) I email the other retailer and tell them that if my package hadn’t shipped, cancel them from my order as I no longer need them. They respond that it already shipped but I can return them. Too bad UPS let me know that they received my package for shipping 3 hours after that email was sent. I realize that it’s not reasonable to expect someone to go digging around to find my package to change the order but I suspect my email actually prompted the shipping.
Lesson learned! Tomorrow I will have my Riding Warehouse breeches… the other ones will be here the 19th (12 days after ordering and paying $10 for “shipping and handling”)
