RIP Dr. Joe Rogers

MFH since 1962, classic country doctor, the last of the huntsmen to use a cow horn maybe. But mostly just a wonderful gentleman.

Godspeed, gallant sportsman.
A huge loss.

So sorry to hear this. I have a funny story about him, I went to his house at one time to talk to him about a horse and he invited me into the study. There was a foxhound laying on a couch and he told me that a member of his hunt (to be nameless) was found lying on that couch one morning, it appeared he had had a little too much the night before and came through the dog door and went to sleep. Such a nice gentleman, Gone Away! Dr. Rogers, enjoy those hunts!

Funeral will be on Wednesday: http://www.leesburgtoday.com/news/dr-joseph-rogers-dies-at-family-farm/article_ea47aa0c-a7a8-11e3-88a0-001a4bcf887a.html#.Uxz2Gr0W0GM.facebook

Godspeed Dr. Rogers!

My condolences to his family & friends. A great sportsman, landowner & horseman. I am grateful for the privileges he gave us over many years.
