Founder of Juddmonte in 1980.
He left an incredible legacy of quality horses, among which are Frankel, Arrogate and Enable. Over 500 stakes winners of which he bred over 440 including 118 group/grade I winners.

The thing I remember most about Prince Abdullah are not the horses although they were spectacular but that he made a point to come to the US to visit Bobby Frankel on his death bed.
The humanity alone is remarkable but since he hailed from the Middle East, the optics are striking–a Saudi prince comforting an American Jew in his final hours. The fact that this divide got breached by men of good will represents the best of the sport.
