Ripping Underwear

I have been riding on and off for a few years. But, lately, my underwear is ripping every time I ride. I have worn the same brand of granny-panty underwear since I have started riding. Has anyone else had this problem? I have never had this problem until a few months ago, and now it is happening every time I take my 1 hour lesson. Any suggestions? I cannot go ‘commando’ as I must wear a panty liner when I ride…
Thanks!

I’ve actually never heard of that. Are they old pairs? Could you be heavy with your seat creating excessive friction/tension on the fabric?

I have had new pairs rip also. But, the funny thing is is that my breeches are not affected by it… I wonder if my breeches are causing the friction…hmmm. I may have to try a different pair next time…

Larry The Cable Guy: “I had a girl put on crotchless britches for my birthday one time. I come home, she was like, want some of this right here.’ I go,‘No, look what it did to your under britches’.”

What the heck are you doing to your under britches? Time to try two point?

Are they the right size? Where are they ripping, the waistband? Do they have enough give? I’d try some seamless santoni ones, maybe.

I’ve sometimes worn holes in my crotch of my undies from riding, but that’s after they are getting old. I don’t think I do it anymore, I think I was sitting funny for a little while or something, so definitely check how you are sitting.

Have you tried those Knix Wear underwear that have a built in pad.?
