Riverside CA - eventing barns?

I’m asking on behalf of a friend, who is trying to get time in the saddle (her “new” daughter is now 8 months old).

I know there are barns out in Temecula, but who would you recommend for… someone that does not have their own horse.

Anyone?

Competent rider, has been lessoning at a hunter barn in Riverside for the past few months.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I liked Erin Kellerhouse and Whitney Tucker at SwiftRidge located at Galway Downs. That means excellent schooling! Lots of space and they have been excellent to me!

I would second, third and fourth this. Erin and her program are so amazing… I wish she was 2,000 miles closer! PM me if you need contact info.

Thanks for the info! Sorry, I seem to be constantly posting and then running. I do appreciate the replies!

Also, I was out visiting during the CCI*** and managed to attend all 3 days (for a while at least). Had a great time/saw some great riding.

Bringing this back to life… what about other barns for people WITH horses near riverside? Looking for eventing barns, but H/J or Dressage barns would work too. Doesn’t appear to be that many options, but I could be looking in the wrong place!

My friends place in Norco. http://www.telesisequestrian.com

TSH - my friend never made it to an eventing barn. I’ll ask her the name of the h/j barn she’s at.

TSH - by near Riverside do you mean Riverside itself, or are you located somewhere specific near Riverside that would be a more appropriate target?

Friend’s barn is:

Lindall Hunters

I’m an East-Coaster, so I can’t vouch for the place (care/amenities). But my friend likes the people there; says they’re awesomely nice.

Spring Creek Training Centre is in the Hemet/Temecula area. It’s my sister-in-law’s farm so I will freely admit to bias, but she has her BHSI and the farm has a 20-acre cross-country course. She does take students that don’t have their own horses.
