Roading appropriate breeches?

I was asked late last night to go roading with a couple of friends early Monday morning. Attire was described as: Tan breeches, muted/dark polo shirt, tall boots or black half chaps. Helmet of course. I have 2 options for tan breeches that fit at the moment–sage ribbed Tuffrider knee patch (but they are on the dark side of tan) or light beige FITS full seats (with the baboon butt patches).

Are either appropriate or should I hit the tack shop for something new?

And thank you to the posters on the etiquette thread! I’m scrolling through those links for future use. Hoping to get to go as a guest at some point this winter so those links are awesome!

It’s roading - not a fashion show. Go for comfort cos you’ll probably get dirty.

Thanks! I didn’t expect it to be a fashion show, but I’d also like not to offend anyone lest they not let me come back in the future! Tomorrow’s outing has been postponed due to a thrown shoe, but I hear we will reschedule. Thanks again !
