I am officially a hunter pace fan! I went to Quail Roost in NC this past Sunday and had an absolute blast! Can’t wait for their next one on November 11th. 
I may have to look into actual hunts in the area. What a super fun horse activity, just can’t believe I’ve been missing out all these years, lol. My horse seemed very pleased with everything as well. We do a fair amount of hacking on trails near the farm on our own. I think he was happy having friends around. 
Wonderful! Attended a hunter pace clinic last month, and my OTTB is not yet ready, but I was able to volunteer. Looked like a blast! Enjoy all your future adventures!

Thanks guys! I feel like a whole new horse world has opened up:) I have mostly ridden dressage, some lower level eventing…but after college just didn’t have the time or interest really in showing anymore. I feel like I’ve been subconsciously looking for a riding activity to fill that void…and hunter paces, and maybe hunting is it! :winkgrin:
