Forget it – found them – Dwyer Productions. I’m on it!!!
This is kind of exciting! I have these videos and they are basically in new condition. Course I don’t think I want to part with them right now, but who knew I had something so valuable!
OK, here’s what I wrote to the director of Dwyer Productions:
Mr. Dwyer:
Assuming you are the head of the same Dwyer Productions that produced the video, “Selecting Hunters & Jumpers with Rodney Jenkins,” I thought it appropriate I go directly to you on behalf of some other interested parties.
The video, most likely produced back in the early 80’s, is STARTING at $279 on Amazon.com. Some time ago, some lucky bidders caught it on ebay for between $70 and $90. Needless to say, there is a strong interest in the video and people want it so badly, they’ll clearly pay top dollar for it.
What are the chances of your re-mass-producing the video on DVD or doing so on-demand? If it requires your getting back in touch with Rodney Jenkins, our network of equestrians can easily track his contact information down.

I could hug you!
Well, we’ll all get excited if it actually goes somewhere. If he turns me down, then we’ll determine reasons and decide if we need to send him a friendly, good-hearted petition.
But you got the ball rolling. Thanks.
Can someone explain what this video is about? I’ve never heard of it, but it sounds like it must be pretty amazing!

Also Acertiansmile, will he still judge hunters? Maybe if it’s TB show and in MD with the old-type open hunters course with a pen and a coup…
No word back yet, gang. But we did just send it Friday so I’ll wait until Wed at which point I’ll make a phone call.
I am so excited I can hardly wait! I want this video soooooo bad!!! I just don’t have $300 to spend… Sigh
Tomorrow is my deadline for giving the Dwyer people time to respond to my email. Haven’t heard back! Will call when I get a chance tomorrow.
Keep your fingers crossed.

I’ll have to ask him next time I speak with him… Also… I believe the tape that he has is one of his competitions…I really need to get ahold of that one! I’ll make some copies, but they wont come cheap! (J/K, of course)!
As far as judging, I love Rodney, but he was always known as no show Rodney. Even juniors asked when seeing the prizelist, " whel, who do you think will take Rodney’s place." He has a nice quiet life with his wife and kids. Leave hime alone. He doesn’t want to be the guru. That is why he left the business.
