Anyone here have one? Where did you find yours? What size do you have? I have decided to spring for one finally, and need to know where they can be bought. They come in so many different sizes and configurations that I am completely flummoxed on which would be the best size for me for general fairly heavy hoeing in summer soils that can get as hard as concrete when they dry after a rain.
I have never heard of them, but they look very interesting. I’m still using the hoe my Dad had, soldered on head and all. I’ll be watching this thread to see what others have to say. It look like you can order them. I checked and the nearest store is over 200 miles from me.
This thread title sounds like a topic for the Maury show, lol!
Tune in for “Rogue Hoes” on tomorrow’s episode of Maury!
Sorry OP, but thanks for a good laugh.
Hope you find the info you need.
My expectations for this thread were dashed.
:lol::lol::lol:
Same!
Saw the title, thought oh, this should be good. See it’s about actual garden implement. Such possibilities lost. Hangs head in shame for about 30 seconds.
And yet, possibly best thread title ever…
Since I made the comments I did, in an effort to redeem myself, to me, the hoe resembles a forrestrey tool. Check those suppliers.
While I was also hoping for juicier content than gardening implements… it looks like there is a retail locator on the website, viney. Have you checked to see if there are stores near you? In the event that there are none, it looks like they sell on Amazon with free shipping, if you can decide which one you want without putting hands-on.
Those are some serious hoes. What size, weight, etc. would work best for you will greatly depend on your body type and what size of row you want to hoe.
Those are some badass hoes.
I was thinking, if that was meant to read rogue horses, this should be in the Off Course forum?
Those look like lifetime tools, the kind you don’t just leave laying around, but clean and polish after each use.
You have now come up with the market competition.
They are known for their firefighting tools (they make a version of the pulaski, which is a hoe on one end and an axe on the opposite side). So I would imagine their garden tools would be pretty durable…
It looked like a firefighting tool that is why I suggested forestry supplies.
Haha, yeah, I missed your comment :).
Thought I had missed something real good here on COTh with this title! Bwahahhahahah!!!
I was attacked last week by my own hoe. It slammed my ring finger into a big rock while snuggled in my hand. Was rock meets hand and hoe slamming with Lots of downward force. Don’t think anything was broken but my!! What pretty colors…and my ring no longer fits.
Sigh…Back to hand pulling
Imagine the advertising schtick…
Looks like I can find one in either Dumas, Ark, or Collierville, TN. I’ll have to call the stores to see what they have available. Thanks for the tip about retail stores on their website, Heinz 57.
I’m hoping that it will do most of what my mattock does for much less weight.
After I get mine, I’m going to buy one for our farm renter for Christmas this year.
