nor is it illegal calling the police to have them ask the person just what they are doing … at least where I live the police would and do respond to such suspicious activity calls
It may not be “ok” in your opinion but it’s not illegal. In open areas you have no expectation of privacy.
Yes it is. There are laws against that in general and also aviation laws that apply to drones.
They would and the person would say I am on public property doing whatever I’m doing in an area the public can see. Just because they respond doesn’t mean there’s anything they can do about it.
While yes, this is correct, I think most everyone’s grievance is the USEF needs to take more initiative to prevent those from abusing horses from participating in their shows.
It is understood that that the USEF cannot prosecute someone for animal cruelty (although they do have various ties is congress) there’s no excuse they can’t be like “hey we don’t like the videos of how you treat horses, we don’t want you here”
The videos can always be turned over to the appropriate entity for criminal investigation if warranted.
