Re: parking on cross-country day, I’m not convinced any of the field parking is good enough or bad enough to let it dictate what time you get there in the morning, so mostly you just need to figure out what time you want to be in place on course, and allow time for the line and for hiking in to whatever vantage point you want to start from. The path and gate that you will use from the field parking brings you in right at the Head of the Lake, and I typically gave myself an hour to get there, get through the line, park and hike in without having to worry about being “late.” One year we got there and they decided to park everyone in a section up the hill before they filled the lower section, we were not amused as we hiked through all the empty space we could have parked in!
ISO 4 tickets for Sunday, NOT bleacher seats:)
If anyone has some they don’t need let me know. They definitely sold out way faster this year!
So…I’m never (ahhh!) allowed to go to Rolex because my job forbids us to take vacation days in April.
However.
I am supposed to go on maternity leave in April. Baby Girl is due April 28th. Naturally, I am trying to figure out in what realm it would be possible to
a) convince baby to come at a pre-determined date so there are no surprise deliveries.
b) convince doctor that it really is ok to travel several states away two weeks before due date.
c) manage to go to Rolex and take pics and not post anything for fear of work knowing what I did.
d) convince DH that it really is THE BEST idea that we go to Rolex while on maternity leave.
What could possibly go wrong with my plan?!?!?
Reminder that tickets START to mail on March 8!
3 XC tickets available for purchase! My friend has already purchased 3, so I don’t need them - will take a loss to unload them!
I have 2 - 4 day passes and COVERED seats on Friday and Sunday I need to sell… anyone?
I’m potentially interested. Send me a PM with what you’re hoping to get for the package.
Maybe the fact that Rolex is the weekend of April 27-30th.
Maybe the fact that I was joking…?
I got the joke, what didn’t make sense was you state that you’re due April 28th and that you’d have to b) convince your doctor that it is really okay to travel several states away two weeks before your due date. So what could possibly go wrong with this plan? (you asked) You would be there two weeks early…
Still available?
