The full list is not up yet, since for this week they’re taking 10 qualifiers from the 1.50 class on Friday. There are some heavy hitters in there.

There are! It should be fun to watch.

That class begins at 10am EDT.

Were you watching the qualifier today?

Yes. Very good class!

I always enjoy watching James Kann Cruz.

This seems … different.

I noticed that as well.

That is one glorious horse, Point Break.

The other interesting thing they said on the live stream was that Richard Vogel’s great horse United Touch has stayed in Europe all winter and will be doing the World Cup final with him next week.

Looking at Richard Vogel’s FEI record, he has mostly been showing other horses in Florida all winter with just a few shows in Europe.

I wonder if United Touch’s breeding career weighs in on that.

Oooh Ilex, Greya, James Kann Cruz, Caracole, King Edward, Bisquetta, Checker 47, Katanga, Dallas Vegas Batilly, Eddy Blue. This is going to be a showdown!

Maybe, although I sort of can’t imagine he does any live cover.

If I had a (pretty much once-in-a-lifetime) horse like that, I would certainly not take a chance on him getting hurt that way. One cranky mare could put him out of the show ring for the whole season or worse.

No I would not expect that either.

This is a level of wealth and prestige I will never experience. :joy:

Bainbridge $6,000 1.40m is on now (2pm EDT.)

McLain Ward will ride Imperial HBF (just sold by Tim Gredley.)

It’ll be interesting to see how they get along.

2 time faults for Ward.

Pretty darn nice. And very smooth. If I didn’t know it was a new ride for him, I never would have guessed.

It seemed to me that they were still getting to know each other.

Wow did Lillie not qualify? Didn’t see her on the list. That’s too bad.
