WTF??? And that woman blames the horse? Allison played it safe.
Wow, so Michael has two rails in hand for tomorrow. wow
Wow, this sport is always full of surprises.
Ugh. Arthur is an absolute heartbreaker.
Oh, Arthur… You have to break her heart every time, don’t you?
UGH!!!

“That woman” is Karen O’Connor… Arthur has a long, long history.

I love Arthur, but it just breaks my heart that, like Karen just said, for every great moment he has, there’s been a moment where he’s let Allison down too. Sigh.
No, Allison let him down. He had the ride in him, but she held him back too much.

he hates ditches and is very spooky. Not sure how much a rider can cover if the horse just doesn’t have it in him that day.
He looked like he was struggling the whole time.

I know who that woman is…she is easy to blame a horse, when it was the rider that had the job to make it happen.

It looked to me like he was just really tired. He slid over the A element (that how it looked to me)

Yep. We’ll have to agree to disagree, JP.
I thought Arthur spooked at the ditch, and Allie, bless her heart, stayed with him, but arrived in a heap at the foot of a big jump.
And understand I am an Allison Fan, but it was not her horse today.

yes, it was a spook, not a fall. I feel awful for her.

I agreed with Karen and Gina that if EVER a horse “owed” a rider one, Arthur really owed Allison today. He was thinking about stopping before they were over the A element, but I thought for half a second that Allison was going to be able to coax him through.
soo disappointed for Allison and Arthur.
I adore MJ. What a lovely rider. What a lovely mare.
Lauren Keiffer gave the most flawless rides of all, IMHO.
Sad about Colleen and Marilyn’s falls.
[B]9 out of the top 10 are USA! Woot!
And only 50% of those eliminated or retired are USA.
How is that for a comeback???

Yep. We’ll have to agree to disagree, JP.
why are you quoting me and talking about JP?
Allison is a class act, she does what is best for the horse, but he is known to be a tough horse with a lot of spook. You sometimes can’t train that out, it just is the way they are.
i guess I have to beg to differ- Alison loves that horse, and when they horse just does not want to do it, it is what it is. The footing was terrible, the rain was heavy, and it was the end of the day- and Arthur has always done things with HIS opinion -sometimes ditches, sometimes flags (remember a stadium round where that is what he was not too thrilled with). She loves him still, and supports his quirks and at some point, given that Alison has actually kept the faith in him, it would have been nice if he could have just jumped it. But, none the less, they got around a 4*, and I sure haven’t! Good Job everyone!

he looks hesitant the whole time to me.
