I have always enjoyed harness racing. VA has never been an enthusiastic harness racing fan base, plus very few tracks. Mrs Shammy’s family are maniacs (ME) so over the years we enjoyed the fair racing plus the harness racing in Portland when visiting.
Have to laugh about my horse vet, who like me is getting long in the tooth, who became a car racing fan after moving here from KY because harness racing meets were few and far between in central VA.
