Rotating horse tie hardware

Has any one tried or researched or is an owner of a purchased rotating horse tie pole like Cranky Horse crankyhorse.com or movearoundhorse.com or Patience Pole http://shop.downunderhorsemanship.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=PPBC1001

Seems like the patience pole is so much higher in price. Maybe because it comes with pole instead of buying Poole locally…but near $900! Yikes! Cranky Horse approx $250 and move around under $200 and even cheaper if you use the coupon MOVE2016 which might still be good.

I like that the idea of the Move Around Horse Tie won’t be an eye poking hazard if horse rears up. Oh, and I like this one is adjustable up and down if you have a tall or a mini.

Any thoughts or experience with something like this?

We tied a chain between two trees, high up there, then hung chains from it with panic snaps.

Worked just like a patience pole, is where we gave baths also and you could tie more than one horse there.

Nice idea! Will give it some thought.

It’s $$$ because of the Clinton Anderson mark-up.

I’d like to do a patience pole set-up, but I’m not sure I have a good place to dedicate to it.

Might wind up doing the high-line type thing that Bluey mentioned because of this. The state parks in our area have these and they work great.
