We have a mini who is a babysitter for a needy horse. We’re going to start feeding round bales so we need a feeder that is safe and accessible for both of them. Ideas or recommendations? Thanks in advance!
I have two minis, but I would never be able to let them have a round bale unless it were in a very-small-hole haynet. As it is, one of them is too fat right now just on one flake per meal. But we are going into winter so I am not alarmed, she will be okay. Can your mini tolerate free choice hay?
