I love Rover!! I found such a great dog walker on there. They are insured and background checked. I have a $20 off coupon if anyone wants to try them (would make the first dog walk free or discount off of a pet sitter). My walker is even training my dog a bit on their walks :yes:
They actually can be background checked of the sitter or walker opts to pay for it. The insurance sucks so I have my own. Glad you found one you are happy with, there are lots of good ones.
Oh so the person has to pay to have their background checked? It did look like most of the people on there had it done.
Background checks are an option, not a requirement. I assume it is safe to say the ones who opt in are the ones who will pass. I do not offer walks through Rover but they just rolled out a gps like function that owners are going to like I think but it really is to prove the dogs were walked. I think the report cards went live this week.

Yeah that is the new report card function that just went live. Sounds like you have a good one, that is priceless. FYI depending upon when they joined rover takes 15-20% so a tip now and then is appreciated.
