Royal Ascot

Blue Point wasn’t the first to do the double, Choisir was the first in 2003.

While always possible that Blue Point offspring may meet AP offspring, ATM I’d say not likely. Blue Point is a sprinter on European turf while AP is more of a route horse on US dirt. Could happen.

actually you are wrong about my assessment but thanks anyways; carry on.

I wasn’t trying to be right

whatever floats your boat.

Not really. Some of the big trainers have yards with turnouts, but since most trainers have to pay for stabling they are limited to what they can afford. Probably one of the best places to train is Fair Hill in MD.

Here’s a fun documentary about jump jockey A.P. McCoy, now retired and titled Sir A.P. McCoy.

Warning: there is the breakdown of the beautiful Valiramix but you can see it coming and not watch.

yes Fair Hill is beautiful. Horse-happiness a priority there.

Have to laugh a little. I watched the 6th at Wolverhampton today with my RTN subscription. Eight runners–two had to be muscled in (they use a strap instead of locking hands) and another had to be blindfolded AND muscled in…took FIVE people to get it in the stall. Poor horse acted like it had never seen a starting gate.
