Royal Star by Custom Saddlery...anyone know of this saddle?

I am trying out the above dressage saddle. I called Custom Saddlery and the customer representative said she never heard of it. It was made in Walsall England and they are all made here now. She said it was probably very old. It appears to be in great shape but I would like to know how old it really is and a bit about it. Does anyone know anything about the “Royal Star”?

I bought the model before it - called ‘Olympic Star’, but the Olympic committee made them remove Olympic from the name and it was renamed Royal Star. I bought mine in 2000 if I recall. I sold it 3 years ago and it is still in great shape.
Original price was 2400. I resold it for 1500 as a 15 year old saddle.

No one else? I called the company and no one there knows anything about it! The owner is out of town so he cannot be asked. Even the registration number has been given to a newer saddle although that makes no sense to me since this number is a low simple number. The customer service rep told me they are now manufactured in the USA??? She said the present owner has had the company for many years.

That is a discontinued Custom Saddlery model. I cannot believe no one can help you. I had a used one that I sold a few years ago. They are great saddles! I sold it for $700 or so. They were around over 15 years ago, around the era of the VLX.

The original English made saddles were great! Carey (I think that is his name) sold me mine. Love my Customs.

So, are they made in the USA now?
