I found some used in good shape for 25 each plus free pieces. It will be a pain to go get them though.
I just saw that Rural King has them new for $29.00 plus free shipping.

I bought some this summer. I’m not a rubber mat expert, but they seem to be exactly what I was expecting. Free shipping is a super good deal because those bleeps are HEAVY. I was able to get mine at the store directly. And paid $29.00.
The free shipping would sell me on them! But, yes, my barn is full of these mats and they’re you’re typical heavy-duty stall mats. No complaints!
I got a bunch last Thanksgiving for $25 each. Finally got around to re- doing a few stalls last month. They might be a tiny bit lighter than my old TSC mats, but I don’t have any issues with them. For a few bucks difference in cost, I’d just buy new.
Are you SURE shipping is free? I just added 10 to my cart and ran through the shipping calculator and it’s $282.66 to ship. The #1 exclusion on the free shipping is orders that weigh over 100 lbs, so I really don’t think you get these delivered to your door for nothing.
For those in CT, the Agway in Danbury has mats for $28.50 if you pickup and buy more than 4.
No … Actually I was mistaken … Site says free shipping for orders over 100 … But upon closer look it does not include over sized shipping.
so I will be getting the used ones. And actually I would get the 4 X 6 for 25 and smaller pieces free. I need several smaller pieces.
Does any one know where/if I can find 1/2" 4’x6’ mats that aren’t $100+ gym mats?
I don’t need 3/4", you won’t convince me I do; I’ve done at least 100 hours of research and have installed a really good base in my stalls, and my horses are out almost 24/7.
3/4" 4’x6’ mats for $30 at Rural King is way cheaper than anywhere else, but I’m not just looking at cost here. I’d really love to not spend $150+ per stall (10’x12’ stalls), so it’s a factor, but not the only one. I just don’t understand why there doesn’t appear to be a 1/2" version available. The 3/4" are just a huge PIA in my opinion, obnoxiously heavy and difficult to work with.
Yes, I’ve looked at Stall Skins/Stall Savers and am considering them, but they’re no cheaper than the 3/4" mats.
Yes, Tractor supply has 1/2" mats, but they’re 3’x4’ and far more expensive per square foot than the 3/4" 4’x6’ ones (why???).
Do 1/2" 4’x6’ mats exist at a reasonable price?

Unlikely you’re going to find the 1/2" version you’d like for the same price as the 3/4" that everyone else seems to think are okay, just due to supply and demand.
I have not seen 4 by 6 in 1/2 inch. Ended up buying used after I first posted this … And have since flound a local supplier who sells the 4 by 6 3/4 for $38 … Reg price. Yes I know they are super heavy … But we got better at managing them. Also learned that their is a mat gripper tool that helps.
