Hi - I am in need of a very competent, INDEPENDENT saddle fitter. One who can adjust flocking AND trees. Any recommendations? I am located in Purcellville, VA.

I don’t know offhand. But try asking on the Middleburg Community Facebook page. Someone posted a similar question a few months back and a few names came up over and over. Also, the Tack Exchange sells only consigned saddles. Therefore, I imagine they would be reasonably unbiased and probably know of a few independent fitters in the area.

Anne Crowell from Pegasus Saddlery and Biomechanics. She’s an Albion/veritas rep, but flicks and works with all kinds of saddles. Really knows her stuff and will work with what you have. (Won’t push you to buy a saddle)
