Everyone talks about how to fit the saddle to the horse, but nobody talks about how to fit the saddle to the rider! I’m talking in the neighborhood of your flap lengths and how big they should be width wise as well as the length. I’ve always had trouble with finding stuff that fit my leg due to my thigh being so not proportionate with my calf.
I have a HDR (long flap) now and I’ve always thought the flap swallowed my leg. Pictures:

I’m trying out a Pessoa (normal flap) and I like the more “cut” look but I’m not sure if it’s too short? or if I’m just so used to my HDR look.

Leg completely down, knee seems to go below the flap? :

I know a lot of it has to do with rider preference rather than actual “fitting”.
Please let me know your thoughts and if anyone has any other reference pictures then feel free to share it.
