Hello there, my blue roan has recently had a saddle mark on her back where she normally sweats, it’s turned the hair on her back a lighter color and I don’t know how to get rid of it. I only ride about 3-4 times a week and I rinse her off every time after, any advice? I put a picture of it below.
It’s normal bleaching. Rinsing isn’t usually enough, it has to be scrubbed pretty well to remove all the sweat there, and even then, unless you’re never putting that sweaty saddle area in the sun before you can do that, it’s going to bleach a little bit.
